1. Return Eligibility
We want you to love your AFRJEAD denim, but if you are not entirely satisfied, you may return your item(s) under the following conditions:
- Timeframe: You have 14 days from the date you receive your item to initiate a return.
- Condition: The item must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition with all tags and packaging intact.
- Proof of Purchase: A valid order number or proof of purchase is required.
2. Non-Returnable Items
For health and hygiene reasons, the following items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Intimate Apparel: Any items classified as underwear or bodysuits for close-to-skin wear.
3. Return Process
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Email our customer service team at [email protected] within the 14-day return period. Please include your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.
- Receive Instructions: We will provide you with the return authorization and the shipping address for your return.
- Ship Your Return: Carefully package the item(s) in their original packaging and ship them to the address we provide. We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service.
4. Return Shipping Costs & No Free Returns
Please note that we do not offer free returns. Return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer. AFRJEAD is not responsible for any return packages that are lost, damaged, or stolen in transit. The cost of the original outbound shipping fee is also non-refundable.
5. International Returns & Customs Duties
If you are returning an item from outside of Hong Kong, you are responsible for all return shipping costs and any applicable customs duties or import taxes incurred during the return process. We cannot refund these charges. For your own protection, we advise you to declare the package as “Returned Goods” with low value to avoid additional taxes and fees.
6. Inspection and Refunds
Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets our return eligibility conditions.
- Approved Refunds: If your return is approved, your refund will be processed within 10 business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
- Refund Amount: Please note that the refund will be for the cost of the returned product(s) only. The original shipping fee you paid is non-refundable.
- Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven’t received your refund after 10 business days, please check with your bank or credit card company first, as it may take some time to process. Then contact us if the issue persists.
- Declined Refunds: If the returned item does not meet our eligibility criteria (e.g., worn, damaged, tags removed), it will be shipped back to you at your expense, and no refund will be issued.
7. Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item for a different size or color, please return the original item for a refund following the standard return process. Once your return is processed, you can place a new order for the desired item on our website.
8. Damaged or Defective Items
We thoroughly check all orders before dispatch. However, if you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately at [email protected] within 7 days of delivery. Please include your order number and photos/videos clearly showing the issue. We will evaluate the situation and, if validated, provide instructions for a return and full refund (including any shipping costs associated with the return of the defective item).
